SFF’s Paint Protection film is the act of applying a clear film over the original paint of the car to prevent the paint from getting scratched by debris and stones, or stained by bug acid, and droppings. The paint will be protected for years and will not lose its high gloss from direct daily sunlight.

The Paint Protection film is also available in a light shading to have your lights dulled down and have the same effect as your windows being tinted – for a more uniform and stylish appearance. The Paint Protection film also works as a protector against chips, scratches, and bug acid to the headlight, especially if glass and easily susceptible to damage. Stones literally bounce off your car or bike surface without leaving a costly chip to repair or devalue when reselling. The film has a seamless appearance and is not noticeable to the eye, so no change to the appearance of the vehicle is made.

Protection of vulnerable areas such as front bumpers, bonnets, side mirrors, door handle cavities, door edges, rocker panels, and rear fender panels are main priority. Preserving the finish of your vehicle with Paint Protection Film (PPF) from SFF is an easy choice when the value and protection of your vehicle is involved.

For a DIY installation, the following guidelines should be taken into consideration:

Surface Preparation For best results:

  • Wash hands thoroughly before application to avoid film contamination, such as fingerprints, which are difficult to remove.
  • On repainted vehicles, paint must be thoroughly dry and completely cured before any attempt to apply film to the vehicle is made, in order to avoid film bubbling due to paint out gassing. Check paint manufacturer’s instructions for recommended cure time and method.

SFF’s Paint Protection Films come in a 2ply form, and include a Clear variety at a 4mm thickness.

SFF also carries a range of Charcoal films, and a variety of thicknesses to cover all glass and vulnerable areas i.e. headlights, tail lights, and fog lights.
